Thanks to the efforts of Carol Walton at The Parkinson's Alliance, the full text of the Archives of Neurology "Deep Brain Stimulation for Parkinson Disease: An Expert Consensus and Review of Key Issues" by Jeff M. Bronstein, et. al., can be accessed free of charge on the home page of DBS-STN.Org. This means you won't have to track down someone with a subscription to the journal or worry about violating copyright laws.
If you haven't already checked out the DBS-STN.Org site, I suggest that you do so. It is a gold mine of information about DBS. The website was created and is managed by The Parkinson's Alliance. They consistently do a lot of their own research with people who have had DBS surgeries. Margaret Tuchman, who is the founder of the site and President of The Parkinson's Alliance, underwent DBS surgery almost 10 years ago, in December 2000.
