In about two hours, I am due at the hospital, so I thought I'd write a brief post. Despite the questions that I raise about the therapy and my personal experience with its potential complications, I am so thankful for the relief that DBS has given me from constant dyskinesia! It has given me HOURS when I have been able to forget that I have Parkinson's and to feel like a normal person. And I'm thankful that when there are lead migrations or bad electrodes, they can be fixed. So the next post you read from me, BOB should be out of "the shop" and good as new.
